Alhaji Suleiman Jauro the Leader of Arewa Community of Uvwie Local Government Area has declared that he will continue to appreciate Senator Ifeanyi Okowa Governor Delta State for what he has done for him as person and his people not only in Uvwie LGA, but to Muslims in the state.

The People's Democratic Party PDP Chieftain said he and his family fully appreciate the Delta State Governor for his reappointment as a member of Delta State Muslims Pilgrim Welfare Board.


The Muslim Leader in a Press Release made available to journalists in Effurun Headquarters of Uvwie Local Government Area, expressed gratitude to Governor Okowa who he described " As  Ever listening and performing Governor ".

He disclosed that he has also made sure that all Muslim Faithful in the locality set aside time during this period of prayers and feasting to pray specially for Governor Okowa  " Personally I and my family will continue to pray  for our Governor who has graciously reappointed me as a member of Delta State Muslims Pilgrim Welfare Board.We  are eternally grateful to him.Allah will continue to bless him and the people of Uvwie and Delta State."

The PDP Patriot expressed confidence in the ability of Governor Okowa to transform the state inline with the dream and aspirations of not only it's founding fathers but also the people of Delta State.
" Our Governor has started the process of transforming the state with the implementation of his SMART AGENDA of a Stronger Delta State.Im very optimistic that by 2023 when Okowa will be leaving the lives of all Deltans would have been impacted by him"

In a  related development Uvwie PDP Leaders Honourable Evelyn Oboro Former member Federal House of Representatives Abuja and Honourable Solomon Ighrakpata, Deputy Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly have both commended Governor Okowa for the reappointment of Alhaji Suleiman Jauro.

Honourable Oboro described the appointment of the Uvwie LGA Arewa Community Leader" As a good omen for the Muslim Community because he has demonstrated times without number that he is a true Patriot of the People's Democratic party PDP with his continue support for the party and Okowa Administration"

While Honourable Solomon Ighrakpata said his reappointment by Governor Okowa is his ( Okowa) " Strong belief of one Nigeria and hard-working"
