REOPENING OF MOSQUES IN THE STATE

Delta State Muslim Leaders Appreciate Okowa

The Executive Governor of Delta State Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has been commended by Muslim Leaders in the State for the partial reopening of Mosques in the state whose closure was neccesiated by the out break of the Coronavirus Disease popularly known as Covid 19.

The Islamic Leaders Alhaji Auwalu Tuku, Alhaji Mumakhai Unuagha and Alhaji Suleiman Juaro on behalf of Muslim Faithful in Delta State expressed their profound gratitude to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his understanding and his uncommon love for Muslims in the State.

The Arewa Community and Muslim Umma Leaders on behalf of the Delta State Muslims in a Press Release made available to journalists in Asaba expressed gratitude to Governor sequel to decision reached at a parley held in Asaba where he graciously approved the partial reopening of Mosques in the State but with a proviso to the strict compliance of washing of hands with soap and running water or use alcohol based  sanitizers, wearing of Face masks and attendants should be between 20 to 50 persons per mosque during Jumat Prayers 

"I want to personally thank our Governor for graciously approved the opening of Mosques in the State! It shows how caring and understanding he is and his love for the Muslims in Delta State.We prayed for him in our last Jumat Service last week Friday" he said.

"We shall continue to pray for him, and to ensure that the Coronavirus Pandemic is out of Delta State and Nigeria in general" Says Alhaji Suleiman Jauro.

He pledged the continue support of Muslims in the state towards the continue support for the Okowa led Administration.
