A prominent politician in the state, Chief Favour Izoukumor has described a popular Ijaw leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo also known as Tompolo as a true Niger Delta leader and activist.
Chief Izoukumor in a congratulatory message to mark Chief Tompolo's
49th birthday, described the celebrant as a proud son of Ijaw nation, Delta State and indeed Nigeria.
Chief Izoukumor, the Fiyeiwei of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom praised High Chief Ekpemupolo for his passion for the development of the oil and gas producing Niger Delta Region. He said the Ijaw people are proud to identify with Tompolo for championing the course for the emancipation of the Niger Delta Region from pandemic poverty and hunger.
On behalf of himself and his family, Chief Favour Izoukumor wished High Chief Ekpemupolo God's blessings and long life in sound health.
