The Executive Assistant on Security to the Delta state Deputy Governor Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, Chief Joel Ogbona has called on Nigerians to always do things that will promote peace.
Chief Joel Ogbona stated this on Tuesday in Warri while commenting on the 59 independence anniversary of the nation Nigeria.
Chief Joel Ogbona said that apart from corruption, the civil war and other communal crises the nation experienced effected her growth as a country.
He emphasized that peace is needed in attracting people's oriented sustainable development to any nation.
The Executive Assistant on Security to the Delta state Deputy Governor implored all Nigerians to refrain from acts, speeches or anything that will trigger violence, adding that the nation needs peace to develop.
He also urged all Nigerians irrespective of ethnic nationality or religion differences to embrace peaceful coexistence.
