UPUA COMMISERATES WITH THE PEOPLE OF OKERE URHOBO KINGDOM ON THE TRANSITION OF HIS ROYAL MAJESTY PROF. PAUL OGHENERO OKUMAGBA, IDAMA II.

The Urhobo Progress Union America (UPUA) has commiserated with the traditional council of chiefs, elders, and the entire people of Okere Urhobo kingdom in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State Nigeria on the transition of His Royal Majesty Professor Paul Oghenero Okumagba, Idama II.
A statement signed by UPUA President, Olorogun Dr. (Mrs.) Onome B. Dema and Secretary- General, Okakuro Prof. Felix O. Okpe, UPUA noted that the Orosuen of Okere Urhobo kingdom, Idama II was an accomplished university professor who brought peace and progress to Okere Urhobo kingdom during his reign on the throne.
The statement added that, the Orosuen of Okere Urhobo Kingdom, drawing from his experience as a university professor, was a man of exceptional character who reign and managed the affairs of the Okere Urhobo Kingdom with discipline and uncommon character.
While condoling with the people of Okere Urhobo, UPUA admonished the traditional council of chiefs, the kingmakers, elders, and the people of Okere Urhobo to follow due process in selecting and crowing a successor.
The statement conveyed the best wishes of UPUA to the Okere Urhobo Kingdom for a successful passage of rites for the Orosuen of Okere Urhobo Kingdom.
