HON EFETURU ONO-SORHUE RESTATES COMMITMENT TO RUN FOR UDU CHAIRMANSHIP SEAT



Foremost aspirant for the Chairmanship of Udu Council, Hon Efeturi Ono-Sorhue says he is still in the race.

Hon Efeturi in an interview stated that he has not stepped down from the race and will not step down for anyone.

The Owhrode born politician, said he decided to throw his hat into the political ring of Udu LGA, to restore the lost glory of Udu.

He explained that Udu LGA which is one of the oldest Local Government Areas in the State has little or nothing to show for it.

Hon Ono-Sorhue said, if given the opportunity to serve, he would fast track development in the council area, give priority to education and security as well as maintain existing roads in the Council area.

He noted that, Udu LGA is blessed with abundant natural and human resources and  promised to use his international connection to attract investors that will create employment and shore up the revenue base of the Council.

He also promised to meaningfully engage youths, women and men in the area through skill acquisition and empowerment programmes.

The Political Science graduate, sued for the support of all Udu indigenes and promised to respect elders and carry all communities along in the scheme of things.

He commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his development efforts across the state and promised to key into his Stronger Delta Agenda, if he eventually emerge as Chairman of Udu Council.
