HANDOVER CEREMONY OF POLOBUBO YOUTHS BLOC OF COMMUNITIES

POLOBUBO BLOC OF COMMUNITIES CHANGES YOUTH LEADERSHIP.

The Youth President of Polobubo Bloc of Communities in Egbama kingdom of Warri North Council Area of Delta State, Comrade Paul Epumokumo Toruwei says youths of the area needs to jettison acts that would jeopardize the developmental growth of the area but work as in unity to advance the satellite communities to an enviable height.

Comrade Epumokumo Toruwei stated this on Monday at Polobubo open field during the official handover of the youth leadership to him by the immediate past President Evangelist Reverend Gabriel Ojiko.

Youths from the various satellite communities, elders, leaders of thought, the Polobubo electoral body among other stakeholders all witnessed the handing over of mantle of leadership.

Comrade Paul Epumokumo Toruwei in his acceptance speech expressed profound gratitude to the entire sons and daughters of Polobubo Federated Communities, the Polobubo National Council headed by Elder Ebilatei Mac Yoroki for the privilege given to him and his executive to serve.

Comrade Toruwei who pointed out that leadership is all about shared vision and responsibilities, assured his people that he would build on the achievement of his predecessors in advancing the communities on the path of sustainable development.

The Polobubo Bloc of Communities Youth President emphasized on the need to work together in developing the rich oil and gas producing but under developed communities.

He stressed that he will do his best in areas of job creation, scholarships and the general development of the Polobubo satellite communities.

The Immediate Past President of Polobubo Bloc of Communities Evangelist Reverend Gabriel Ojiko said that during his tenure, him and his executive were able to sustain the prevailing peace in the area.

Evangelist Reverend Ojiko stated that his leadership also attracted some forms of development and therefore implored the new youth leadership to strive to surpass the achievements of the immediate past leadership.

Speaking in a similar vein, the Immediate Past Secretary of the Polobubo Bloc of Communities Comrade Markson Aboh in his speech charged the Comrade Paul Toruwei leadership to follow up the Ogono Ama Primary School Classrooms and Staff Offices Block currently at the Delta State Ministry of Education Asaba.

Others who spoke including Mr Office Odunwon all described the peaceful handover ceremony as significance and a sign of good things to come to the land.

They also appealed to government at all levels, the multi national companies operating in the area to pay attention to the developmental needs of the people.

The new youth leadership of Polobubo Bloc of Communities later paid a courtesy visit to Chief Adebayo Aboh the community chairman where they received prayers to succeed in the task ahead.
