RATTAWU SECRETARIAT GROUND BREAKING...

...WORK COMMENCES IN EARNEST

The ground breaking and foundation laying of the Delta Broadcasting Service DBS Warri RATTAWU secretariat was on Monday 21 of October 2019 performed by the Acting General Manager of DBS Warri Pastor Malcolm Oteri.

Our correspondent report that the RATTAWU DBS Warri chapter secretariat building has three offices, a store, a five hundred capacity hall to serve different purposes including conveniences.

Pastor Malcolm Oteri flanked by management  staff of Delta broadcasting service DBS Warri and RATTAWU Union  Leaders performed the foundation  laying ceremony of DBS Warri  RATTAWU  Secretariat.

Pastor Oteri after performing the laying of the foundation block commended the leadership of RATTAWU DBS Warri Chapter headed by Comrade Isaac Oboh for initiating the building of a befitting secretariat for the Union

The Acting General Manager of DBS Warri, who said the relationship between  management and union is cordial pledged to support the building project.

He appealed for support from the public towards the project.

The Chairman of the Radio, Television Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria RATTAWU DBS warri Chapter,  Comrade Isaac Oboh said that upon assumption of office as Chairman, the Union had no secretariat and he initiated the idea to build a befitting secretariat.

Comrade Oboh added that the RATTAWU DBS Warri Secretariat  when completed  would be for the benefit of all members of the union.

The secretary of the Union Comrade Johnson Obasedje in an interview  described the project as beneficial to all and solicited the support of well to do Nigerians and Organizations towards the timely completion of the  project.

The site Engineer, Mr Odono Meshach disclosed that the secretariat would be completed  in a couple of months  if all necessary  logistics are put in place.

The laying of blocks of RATTAWU DBS warri  Chapter Secretariat  was witnessed by members of the Union.
