The General Overseer of Life Church of God Ministry Reverend Jethro Ayemobuwa has called on believers to always learn to appreciate God with their substances.
Reverend Ayemobuwa made the call on Sunday during the annual harvest thanksgiving service of the church held at its headquarter in Warri.
Correspondent reports that the annual harvest thanksgiving service which was attended by ministers of God from different denominations, chiefs and invited guests had it's theme as Ten Cleansed.
The 2019 annual harvest thanksgiving service of Life Church of God Ministry started with thanksgiving songs from the main church choir, children choir, native choir amongst others.
The General Overseer of the church Reverend Jethro Ayemobuwa who declared the thanksgiving service open said that humans often forget to give God thanks for all he has done.
Reverend Ayemobuwa noted that the church and it's members have witnessed several growth which is a enough to give thanks to God.
The General Overseer of Life Church of God Ministry who spoke in an interview on the harvest theme Ten Cleansed added that amongst the ten lepers cleansed, it was the only one leper who came to thank Jesus Christ that got complete healing.
For his part the guest speaker, Reverend Benson German who centered his message on where is my share, stated that many Christians do not know how to keep the share of God.
Reverend German charged Christians to always learn how to give God his share, adding that doing such help to secure more of God's blessings for us.
Speaking in a similar vein, the chairman harvest planning committee Comrade Jackson Timiyan in his vote of thanks, thanked God who in spite of the early morning rain still make the thanksgiving service a huge success.
Comrade Timiyan in an interview with newsmen stressed that Christians are to give thanks to God daily.
Others who spoke in their separate interviews including an assistant Pastor of the church, Pastor Macpherson Kurobo, Chief Jonathan Ari and Chief George Timiyan all described the harvest thanksgiving service as an impartful one.
The Pastor of the Life Church of God Ministry Reverend Jethro Ayemobuwa also used the forum to dedicate the church altar to God.
High point of the event was the formal thanksgiving by the pastors and different families of the church to the glory of God.
Our God is worthy of our thanks for the numerous things He had done to us for this one year. He is faithful despite the heavy down pour the turn out was marvelous and the event was a huge success.
