OBOREVWORI SECURITY

CHIEF BLESSING OBOREVWORI LAUDS DELTA STATE GOVT FOR ROADS REHABILITATION.

Osubi

The Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Security, Chief Blessing Oborevwori has commended the Delta State Government for rehabilitating the ever busy Effurun Roundabout and for the ongoing road repairs at PTI junction, amongst other strategic points in Warri and its environs.

The Governor's Security Aide who gave the commendation at Effurun on Saturday told newsmen that the road repairs have significant security benefits for all road users in Warri and its environs.

According to Chief Blessing Oborevwori, prior to the aggressive repairs of the failed portions by the Okowa administration, Effurun Roundabout posed very serious security risks to road users due to the traffic jam and confusion in that area, especially at night when hoodlums could exploit the situation to perpetrate all forms of crime.

The Governor's Security Aide said the repair of the portions has made vehicular traffic to be fast and smooth, thereby bringing sanity to that area, and leading to the security of the lives and property of motorists and commuters plying that route.

Furthermore, Chief Blessing Oborevwori commended security agents for their dogged efforts at ridding the Oil City of criminal elements, especially in areas where there has been heavy traffic such as Effurun Roundabout, Jakpa, Enerhen and PTI junctions.

He advised youths in the State to shun all acts of criminality and violence so as to attract investors to the State, especially now that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is inviting foreign investors to Delta State to create jobs for the teeming qualified but unemployed Deltans.

While charging security stakeholders in the State to implement decisions taken at State Security meetings for the overall good of Deltans, Chief Blessing Oborevwori commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his executive team, as well as the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and his legislative team for giving priority attention to the security of lives and property in the State.
