The Director General of PHEW Foundation International Engineer Queen Chigbo says women play a great role in securing the family, workplace and the country at Large. 

Engineer Queen Chigbo stated this on Monday at an event to commemorate this year's International Women's Day.

"As we celebrate this year international day of women with theme: Women in Leadership; achieving an equal future in a COVID 19 world, #choosetochallenge

I encourage all women to be confident and seek Leadership positions so as they can be able to make decisions that will be beneficial to all" she said.

Women are creators, they have the unique ability to change a poorly managed situation to a great institution if given the opportunity to serve" The PHEW DG emphasized.

She implored women to seek knowledge, improve themselves in whatever field they find themselves so as they will be relevant.

Engineer Queen Chigbo who cited Dr Okonjo Iweala and other women who have made their marks in different fields of life, charged women across the globe to aspire for greatness no matter what.

"Some female achievers have proved that a woman with the right training, confidence and persistent efforts can be able to attain to whatever height that they can think about" she stressed.

"As we celebrate this day, I want to encourage all women not to see themselves as inferior class but a Superior class created to Create and build whatever gap might be or have been overlooked in the society" Engineer Queen Chigbo stated.

Engineer Queen Chigbo however called on men not to look at women as sex tools or inferior but give the them an opportunity to prove themselves
