.... CHIEF SHERIFF MULADE SAYS HIS REIGN HAS USHER IN PROGRESS TO THE LAND*

A prominent Chief from the Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Council Area of Delta State, Chief Sheriff Mulade says the reign of Oboro Gbaraun 11, Aketekpe Agadagba the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, has ushered in more relative peace to the ancient kingdom.
Chief Sheriff Mulade stated this at the weekend when speaking on the fifth coronation anniversary of the Gbaramatu Monarch in Warri.
"The reign of my Royal Majesty this five years on the royal throne has really ushered in peace which has helped to foster rapid development in the rich oil and gas producing but underdeveloped kingdom" he said.
Chief Sheriff Mulade who is also the Ibe- Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and the National Coordinator of the Center for Peace and Environmental Justice CEPEJ, implored the federal government of Nigeria, the Delta State and the Local Governments as well as Multi National Oil and Gas Companies operating in the kingdom to develop the Gbaramatu Kingdom.
"I called on the Federal, State and Local Government as well as Multi National Oil and Gas Companies operating in the kingdom to continue to pay attention to the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom which is a major crude oil producing kingdom" Chief Mulade stressed.
Chief Mulade who is also a strong advocate for environmental justice and peace in the Niger Delta Region stated that the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom will continue to witness more rapid socio economy growths when all sons and daughters of the land continue to play their role.
The philanthropist and lover of riverine education, however on behalf of himself and his lovely family wished the Gbaramatu Monarch God's blessings and Solomon's wisdom as he continues to reign on the ancient throne of his forefathers
