PHEW DG ENGINEER QUEEN CHIGBO SALUTES PDP FOR PRODUCING SEVENTEEN FEMALES LGA VICE CHAIR PERSONS.

The Director General of PHEW Foundation International Engineer Queen Chigbo has hailed the People's Democratic Party PDP for fielding seventeen females Vice Chair Persons and many councillors in the just concluded Local Government Election in the state.

Engineer Queen Chigbo message was contained in a congratulatory press release made available to news men in Warri.

Engineer Queen Chigbo  described the Delta State Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as a gender friendly Governor.

"The United Nations demands for thirty five percent of women inclusion in politics has been demonstrated by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who is the leader of PDP in the state" she emphasized.

The PHEW DG pointed out that women when given position in politics will join their male counterparts in bringing the dividends of democracy to the people.

"I encourage the women not to misuse the opportunity but to use it to create enabling opportunities for economy to grow which will lead to more job opportunities for the teeming youths at the grassroots" she noted.

She however wished all the seventeen females Vice Chair Persons all the best in their political aspirations.
