Edward Ederaine, President Of Okpe Union North America urges FG to return looted fund to Delta State* .
President Of Okpe Union North America, Mr Edward Ederaine has urged the Federal Government to return the looted fund returned from the United Kingdom to Delta State.
Mr Ederaine in a statement noted that, since the United Kingdom, says the money was looted from Delta State, it should be returned to the State and used for the citing of capital projects in the state.
He explained that, Delta State which is one of the largest oil producing states in the country has little or no Federal Government projects and as such the funds should be used to hospitals, roads and schools in across the state.
Mr Ederaine noted that, If the Federal Government of Nigeria refuses to return the money to Delta State, the federal government is punishing the people of the state for the second time after the first punishment was done by the prior governor and his family and friends who stole the funds at first.
He therefore urged the federal government of Nigeria to reconsider its decision of using the money for the development of another state, for justice and equity sake.
