The remains of Reverend Esther Ovuoghalerie Omofezi nee Okah Avae has been laid to rest at her country home at Ada - Irri in Isoko South local government area of Delta State.
The funeral service was attended by family members, friends and well wishers, love ones, colleagues of the children among others.
The final journey of late Reverend Esther Ovuoghalerie Omofezi started on Thursday 13 February 2020 with a service of song at her residence in Oleh while on Saturday 15 February 2020 her body left Oweh Clinic mortuary for a funeral service at Ada Primary School Ada - Irri which was later followed by interment and entertainment of guests.
While on Sunday 16 February 2020 the Thanksgiving service was held at Bethesda Gospel Mission International Incorporated Headquarters at Irri.
Reverend B O Oruere who minister at the funeral service said that death is what everyone will always face in life.
Reverend Oruere called on everyone to live a life that will please God as well as impact humanity positively like late Rev Omofezi.
The eldest son of late Reverend Omofezi Mr Oghenekeno Omofezi who read the biography described his mother as a lovely mother that raised her children in the ways of God.
He added that his mother committed most of her life to the advancing the church of Christ as well as affected lives.
For her part, the eldest daughter Madam Juliet Uzezi Omofezi said the family will greatly missed their mother.
Speaking in a similar vein, Madam Enifome Ogidiagba another daughter of Mama and a staff of Delta Broadcasting Service DBS Warri added that her mother left good legacy behind that will keep the family going.
She commended all that came to join them in bidding their mother farewell to the great land beyond.
The climax of the funeral was the lowering of late Reverend Esther Ovuoghalerie Omofezi to mother earth for a final rest amidst tears and cries from children, family members.
