BISHOP OKAH BEAUTY FUNERAL RITE

RITE OF PASSAGE OF BISHOP BEAUTY OKAH @ HER COUNTRY HOME OREROKPE.

The remains of late Bishop Beauty Okah, Professor Mike Okah's wife, were laid to rest at her home town Orerokpe in Okpe local government area of Delta State at the weekend.

The burial ceremony was preceded by a service of songs at Christ the Rock Kingdom Church, Warri, attended by family members, friends and well-wishers.

After a brief stop over at her husband's residence in Warri, the corpse was taken to Baptist High School Orerokpe for a funeral service graced by family members, many friends and Church Ministers including the former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor and his wife, the Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Govt, Mrs. Ann Iniovosa, amongst other dignitaries.

In a sermon, Archbishop Solomon Gbakara said everyone would give an  account of his life to God, and urged all to always live a holy life to avoid condemnation.

In his remarks, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor described Bishop Beauty Okah as a force to reckon with in the body of Christ, while Mama Ayo Oritsejafor and other pastor's wives paid glowing tributes to the late Beauty Okah and  thanked God for using her to do great exploits while on earth.

The eldest child of the deceased, Bishop Oghenevwede Abiye-Sibi described her mother as a successful Christian who affected the lives of many people positively.

The eldest son Odjuvwu Okah who sent his tribute from the United States of America, described his mother as a role model who touched lives through the orphanage, the church and other humanitarian platforms.

The remains of late Bishop Beauty Okah, nee Onose, was later committed to mother earth at her residence in Orerokpe, with Bishop Diamond Emuobor presiding over the grave side service.

Shortly after the burial, a son-inlaw of the late Bishop Beauty Okah, Bishop Albert Abiye-Sibi also led his people from Rivers State to pay his last respect to his late mother-inlaw according to Okpe tradition and customs.

Bishop Beauty Okah was born on January 15, 1951 and died in 2019 at age sixty nine. She will be fondly remembered by her husband, Archbishop Mike Okah, many children, grandchildren, as well as her siblings.

FUNERAL OF BISHOP BEAUTY OKAH

THE FINAL RITE OF PASSAGE OF BISHOP BEAUTY OGHENEOCHUKO OKAH

The remains of Bishop Beauty Ogheneochuko Okah nee Onose was at the weekend laid to final rest at her home town Orerokpe in Okpe local government area of Delta State.

Correspondent reports that the funeral service was graced by family members, love ones, top servants of God among who are the former chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, the Vice chairman of Warri South Council Area Mrs Ann Iniovosa and others.

The final passage of rite of late Bishop Beauty Ogheneochuko Okah started on Saturday 15 February 2020 with the movement of her remains from Vennel mortuary and in a motorcade was escorted to her husband's residence and finally to her home town Orerokpe.

Archbishop Solomon Gbakara in his sermon centered on living accountable life, said there is an Angel that keeps account of every human activities on earth.

Archbishop Gbakara implored everyone to always live a life which pleases God as well as guarantee them an eternal life after life on earth.

The former chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Papa Ayo Oritsejafor in his remarks said late Bishop Beauty Okah was a woman force in the body of Christ while on earth.

Speaking in a glowing tributes Mama Ayo Oritsejafor and others women thanked God for using her daughter to do great things while on earth.

While reading the biography of her mother, the eldest child Bishop Oghenevwede Abiye Sibi said that her mother was not only a success in the body of Christ but one who excel also in the family front as well as affected lives of many positively.

In his tribute, the senior son Odjuvwu Okah described his late mother as a role model and one who touched lives through the orphanage, the church among other platforms.

The remains of late Bishop Beauty Ogheneochuko Okah was later laid to rest, with Bishop Diamond Emuobo residing over the graveyard session.

In laws of late Bishop Beauty Ogheneochuko Okah also took time to observed the traditional in law greets.

Late Bishop Beauty Ogheneochuko Okah was born on January 15 1951 and departed the world in 2019 at the age sixty nine years old.

FUNERAL OF LATE REV OMOFEZI

RITE OF PASSAGE : REMAINS OF REV ESTHER OVUOGHALERIE OMOFEZI COMMITTED TO MOTHER EARTH.

Isoko South -

The remains of Reverend Esther Ovuoghalerie  Omofezi nee Okah Avae has been laid to rest at her country home at Ada - Irri in Isoko South local government area of Delta State.

The funeral service was attended by family members, friends and well wishers, love ones, colleagues of the children among others.

The final journey of late Reverend Esther Ovuoghalerie Omofezi started on Thursday 13 February 2020 with a service of song at her residence in Oleh while on Saturday 15 February 2020 her body left Oweh Clinic mortuary for a funeral service at Ada Primary School Ada - Irri which was later followed by interment and entertainment of guests.

While on Sunday 16 February 2020 the Thanksgiving service was held at Bethesda Gospel Mission International Incorporated Headquarters at Irri.

Reverend B O Oruere who minister at the funeral service said that death is what everyone will always face in life.

Reverend Oruere called on everyone to live a life that will please God as well as impact humanity positively like late Rev Omofezi.

The eldest son of late Reverend Omofezi Mr Oghenekeno Omofezi who read the biography described his mother as a lovely mother that raised her children in the ways of God.

He added that his mother committed most of her life to the advancing the church of Christ as well as affected lives.

For her part, the eldest daughter Madam Juliet Uzezi Omofezi said the family will greatly missed their mother.

Speaking in a similar vein, Madam Enifome Ogidiagba another daughter of Mama and a staff of Delta Broadcasting Service DBS Warri added that her mother left good legacy behind that will keep the family going.

She commended all that came to join them in bidding their mother farewell to the great land beyond.

The climax of the funeral was the lowering of late Reverend Esther Ovuoghalerie Omofezi to mother earth for a final rest amidst tears and cries from children, family members.

Late Reverend Esther Ovuoghalerie Omofezi nee Okah Avae was born in 1940 and departed the world in 2019.


She survived by five children and many grand children and great grand children, family members among others.

HARMATTAN SEASON

Harmattan season which usually occurs in Nigeria form November till mid March is a season that is associated with various hazardous challenges due to the cold dry and hot wind and dense visibility.

Harmattan is a season in the West African Subcontinent which occurs between the month of November till middle of March the following year.

Harmattan season is characterized by the dry and dusty Northeasten trade wind which blows from the Sahara desert over West Africa into the Gulf of Guinea.

The temperature is usually cold in most places but can also be hot in certain places depending on local circumstances.

The season is usually associated with large amount of dust that makes visibility difficult on the road, air or water thus making traveling hazardous by air, water and road transportations.

Some farmers in agarian communities in getting ready for the planting season engaged in burning the land.

Since harmattan season is like any other seasons of the year, it's therefore advice that people should take precautionary measures in making the most of the harmattan season.

People with crack skins, lips and feets should endeavor to rub moisturizing cream on their skins properly, apply lips gloss, use inhaler when necessary and put on thick clothes that cover the body.

Farmers who engaged in bush burning in getting their farmland ready for planting should know that such act does not only weaken the nutrients of the soil but can also lead to uncontrollable spread of the fire to other farmland where there is crop.

The best way is for the farmers to make use of tractors to clear their farmlands or engaged human services in cutting the grass with cutlasses.

For those who engaged in burning refuses close to objects that can easily ignite fire should please refrain from such habit of getting rid of their refuses but rather adopt a more effective ways of disposing their refuses that will not cause fire outbreak.

During this dusty period people should improve on their personal hygiene by cleaning and dusting their homes, offices, surrounding, ensures they wash fruits properly before eating and rinse dishes before serving food on to eat.

Weather forecasters says that temperature during this season drops to dew point of saturated air which condensed to reduce visibility drastically to as low as 400 meters.

Drivers should learn to drive carefully on the road, captains of ships should apply caution as they navigate the water channels while cancellation or diversion of flights should be done when necessary.

Furthermore, fire safety experts, disaster emergency management agencies and all relevant stakeholders should regularly embark on public sensitization either via radio, television or places of worship, markets, social gathering to educate the people on how to effectively make the most of the harmattan season.

Every season no doubt comes with its challenges but adapting oneself to the various seasons of the year makes the difference in making the most of such season.
