Ahead of the forthcoming Council elections in Delta State, Udu People's Democratic Party, PDP, Ward Two Executive has endorsed Hon Efeturi Onosorhue as Chairman for Udu Local Government.
The Ward Executive made the endorsement shortly after Hon Onosorhue declared his intention to run for the number one seat of Udu Local Government before them at the Erhiephiyor Hall in Owhrode Community.
The Ward executive led by Mr John Awhin in their various submissions said they are impressed with the programmes and policies of Hon Onosorhue aimed at repositionining the Council Area.
They prayed for Hon Onosorhue and promised to mobilize all members of the Ward to queue behind him when the time comes.
Earlier, Chairmanship hopeful for Udu Local Government, Hon Efeturi Onosorhue thanked the Ward Executive for their support and efforts in steering the party to greater heights.
Hon Onosorhue who lamented the high level of under development in Udu LGA, promised to work with the state government and relevant agencies in order to attract development to the area.
The Political Science graduate also promised to woo investors to the council area to create employment for the teeming youths by ensuring the roads are motorable and improved security.
He also promised to carryout elaborate empowerment programmes and high respect for the traditional institution and elders.
Hon Onosorhue appealed for the support of the party Executive to enable him succeed assuring them that he will not step down for anyone no matter the pressure.
