TIMIYAN REACTION ON OKOWA SUPREME COURT VICTORY

SUPREME COURT JUDGEMENT....

....COMRADE JACKSON TIMIYAN SAYS IT IS OVER.

A Niger Delta Youth Activist Comrade Timiyan says the judgement of the Supreme Court on Wednesday 8 January 2020 which upheld Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the winner of the of the 2019 governorship election is a true reflection of what the people votes.

Comrade Timiyan stated this while reacting to the Supreme Court Judgement which dismissed the case of the opposition APC candidate Chief Great Ogboru and upheld Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as the state governor.

The Niger Delta Youth Activist who was the immediate past Personal Assistant to the Ijaw ethnic nationality DESOPADEC commissioner said the governor Ifeanyi Okowa victory in the 2019 governorship election was authenticated on Wednesday, January 8 2020, when Supreme Court dismissed the petition of the opposition to challenge Gov Okowa's victory.

Comrade Timiyan who is also the Secretary General of Kokodiagbene community congratulated Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy Deacon Kingsley Otuaro for the well-deserved victory and also felicitate with the chirman of PDP in the state as well as party faithful for the victory.

He implored Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa to be magnanimous in victory, and remain focused on his quest of building a prosperous and Stronger Delta.

Comrade Timiyan however, urged the opposition to join hands with the Delta State Governor in moving the state forward.

He commended the Supreme Court for the speed at which the case was dispensed and also wished Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy Deacon Kingsley Otuaro God's wisdom as they pilot the affairs of the state.
