 HON FRANCIS EJIROGHENE WAIVE CALLS ON CONSTITUENTS TO STAY HOME

The member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Honourable Francis Ejiroghene Waive has called on his constituents to obey the lockdown directive by government by staying at home.

Honourable Waive made the call recently in a message titled CLARION CALL ON OUR PEOPLE TO STAY SAFE via his social media platforms.

The Federal Lawmaker stated that the rampaging COVID 19 seems to be near it's peak if everyone endeavor to stay safe, adding that those who expressed disbelief initially are now coming to terms with the reality.

"This is the time for all of us to comply with instructions issued by the authorities, otherwise an avoidable prolongation of this pandemic looms" he said.

Honourable Waive who is the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Power said some of the ways to prevent the spread of coronavirus are, observing social and physical distance, practice regular hands washing with soap under a running water, avoid touching one's nose, eyes and mouth with dirty hands, sneeze in a disposable tissues, handkerchief or in one's elbow as well as report for medical check up whenever one is feeling feverish.

The Federal Parliamentarian cum clergyman stressed on intensified prayers to God to have mercy and save us all for coronavirus pandemic, citing the Bible book of 2 Chronicle 7:13-14 where God assured mankind that if His people humble themselves to pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways then He will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.
